Senora Thagard’s Spanish 3 and Spanish 4 students worked together in an outdoor activity. Spanish 4 students used sidewalk chalk to illustrate 18 commonly used Spanish verbs. Spanish 3 students then had to identify and label the illustrations using the correct Spanish verb.

Our district strives to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for our Trojans. Over the summer we made prudent use of our funds for facility improvements to our district roofs and boiler system. The projects were completed last month.

The Sebring Local School District welcomed students in Pre-K through 12th grade along with their families for a fun and memorable Back to School Bash last month! We had over 250 in attendance. This event would not be possible without the generous support of our many community groups who love our Trojans as much as we do! Take a look at our wrap up facts and figures:

Reminder!

During McKinley’s “First Day Experience”, grade levels were given STEM challenges to work on together. Students were given materials to build a structure that was both tall and sturdy. Students started the first day working together to problem solve in a friendly competition.

Senior Spotlight Moments:
Mrs. Viscounte (Sebring Superintendent), Principal Clark and the Class of 2026 share a special connection.
The Class of 2026 is special to Mrs. Viscounte as it is the first Sebring class she has had the privilege of seeing from day one as kindergartners to seniors. Mrs. Viscounte started her time at Sebring as B.L. Miller Elementary Principal in 2013; the same year the Class of 2026 started kindergarten.
Principal Clark became McKinley's principal the year the Class of 2026 became freshmen. Now, Principal Clark and our seniors are marking a milestone together: 4 years at McKinley!
It is a special year for our administrative team to watch our Trojan Seniors complete their time at Sebring.

Happy Labor Day!

Literacy Under the Lights is back!

Our district was made a little brighter for the first week of school with a visit from The Sunshine Bus. Every student in our district was able to fill a bag with snacks, drinks, a stuffed animal, a book, and some personal care products to begin the school year. Take a look at our smiling Trojans!

Senior Spotlight Moments: The Class of 2026 gathered before school started to leave their mark on the rock. Check out the Senior Class rock:

Reminder Trojans:

The Class of 2026 had the "last" first day of school at Sebring Local Schools yesterday and they chose to spend it together.
Seniors gathered with Principal Clark for a "Senior Sunrise" before yesterday's first day of school officially began. The morning may have been cloudy, but our seniors were all smiles for their kick off to their last year at McKinley. The morning was made complete with "Mrs. Clark's brownies", a school favorite!
Join us this year as we share "Senior Spotlight Moments", snapshot of the beloved senior traditions at Sebring!
