Congratulations to Mrs. Nicole Mathias on being awarded "Educator of the Year"! For the second consecutive year, a Trojan teacher earned one of the top honors at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber’s “Educator of the Year” awards. The award ceremony honors the best educators in the tri-county area. Last year, Mrs. LeAnn Laure took home the “Golden Educator of the Year”.
We are a district full of talented, dedicated, exemplary educators and we are proud that Mrs. Mathias was honored as a reflection not only of our district but of our entire Sebring community. Mrs. Mathias accepted her award in front of 400 attendees and nominees from districts across the tri-county area. Perhaps the biggest evidence of Mrs. Mathias' positive influence was that Sebring graduate, Ryan Burd, was also nominated for the top award and was seated at her table.
