A Message from Superintendent Cassidy

Welcome to Sebring Local Schools, home of the Trojans! Whether you are a long-standing member of our community or exploring our district for the first time, I am proud to share what makes Sebring a truly special place for children to learn, grow, and thrive. At Sebring, our foundation is built on a simple yet powerful belief: every student deserves an education tailored to their unique strengths, passions, and goals. We take pride in maintaining tight-knit classrooms, allowing our dedicated educators to know each child by name, understand how they learn best, and walk alongside them on their personal educational journey.

Our student-centered approach ensures that learning is never one-size-fits-all. From early childhood through graduation, we prioritize individualized growth by providing flexible academic pathways that match each student's ambitions—whether that means taking college credit plus courses, mastering technical credentials through our partnership with Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, or building strong foundational skills through hands-on instruction. Beyond academics, we focus on nurturing the whole child, ensuring our schools are safe, supportive environments where students feel valued, encouraged, and equipped with the tools they need to reach their full potential.

We also firmly believe that learning extends far beyond the four walls of a classroom. In a district of our size, every student has the opportunity to explore their interests without having to pick just one path. Our Trojans build leadership and resilience on the athletic field, express their creativity through outstanding music and arts programs, and discover new passions in innovative STEM labs and electives. When students are given both personalized support in the classroom and rich opportunities outside of it, there is no limit to what they can achieve. I invite you to explore our Facebook pages and website to see firsthand how the Sebring family works together to inspire the leaders of tomorrow.

Let’s Go Trojans!
