Trojan Senior Spotlight: Aiden Seevers

The final countdown for The Class of 2026 is on! Blocks are being finished, final assignments are being completed, celebrations are beginning.

Trojan Senior Spotlight: Davianna Bowyer

Our Trojans took on the English Festival at Youngstown State University. High school and middle school students participated in literary-based activities and contests with students from the tri-county area. Students also had the opportunity to hear presentations from authors and meet students from other schools in the area. Way to represent the Trojans!

Trojan Senior Spotlight: Nikki Freet

Today we recognize the exemplary care our school nurses give to our students. Thank you!

Today we launch our annual tribute to our graduating Trojans in the "Senior Spotlight" series. Participation in this project was voluntary and while not every senior chose to participate, we'd like to wish every member of The Class of 2026 the very best in their futures!

When we call school nutrition professionals heroes, we truly mean it. Each spring, we celebrate their dedication, care, and hard work with School Lunch Hero Day.
Join schools across the country in recognizing the vital role these team members play every day—nourishing students, supporting learning, and making a difference for every child who walks through the cafeteria doors.

The end of the year is near! Take a look at these upcoming year-end dates. Please note, this is a list of major dates and does not include every grade-level special date.

Photography students are expanding their skills. Students have been learning about lighting recently and how to properly light a shot. Check out how senior, Mia Somerville, is using a strobe light for the perfectly curated shot.

Our B.L. students are set to be TV stars next month! Mark down these Pledge of Allegiance air dates:

We aim to develop well-rounded Trojans; it's why we encourage our students to connect to experiences outside the classroom in our community. Ecology students did just that when they cleaned up Johnson Road in Sebring. Students demonstrated great teamwork and we are proud of their efforts.

Before break we celebrated our third quarter award-winning students. Way to go Trojans! Let's finish the year strong!

Today we honor Ms. Tiffany Thomas on School Librarian Appreciation Day. Ms. Thomas integrates the love of reading with multimedia skills for our B.L. students. Whether it's diving into a good story, learning to type, or using technology to explore, we are thankful for the impact Ms. Thomas has on our young Trojans!

Small school, BIG hearts: Trojans help each other! We are proud to report that this year's "Emily's Project" fundraiser had a record year, raising over $2,000 this month for the newly established "The Jen and Jake Project"! We are grateful for students who lead the way with their efforts to support our community. We are also grateful for the unwavering support of parents, families, and neighbors. Together, our small school has made a huge impact on local non-profits in honor of "Emily's Project," totaling over $22,000 raised since 2017.
To celebrate this huge "Emily's Project" milestone, students got to turn Mr. Clark into a human sundae! Fun was had and good work was done this month! Way to go Trojans!

Another reminder of our upcoming break:

Today we recognize the daily contributions of our incredible paraprofessionals. Our paraprofessionals support our district in numerous ways by assisting teachers and students in the classroom with additional instruction and various tasks, which keeps our days running smoothly. We thank our Paraprofessional team for their dedication to our district!
