Welcome to Sebring McKinley High School! It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as principal of such a proud and spirited school community. At McKinley High School, our traditions run deep, our expectations are high, and our commitment to student success is unwavering. The strength of our school lies in the partnership between our dedicated staff, supportive families, engaged students, and loyal community members. Together, we create an environment where every student is encouraged to grow, lead, and thrive.
At Sebring McKinley, we are proud to offer a wide range of academic opportunities designed to prepare students for success beyond graduation. Our comprehensive curriculum includes college-preparatory courses, honors classes, College Credit Plus opportunities, and career-focused pathways that equip students with real-world skills. Whether students are exploring advanced mathematics and science, engaging in the arts, participating in technology and career-technical programs, or developing leadership skills through business and service organizations, they are challenged to think critically, collaborate effectively, and pursue excellence.
Our mission of “Building leaders, learners, and thinkers” is evident not only in the classroom, but throughout our entire building. Recently, our students and staff have celebrated building-wide achievements in academics, athletics, fine arts, and community service. From strong performances on state assessments and scholarship awards to successful athletic seasons and award-winning music and arts programs, Trojan pride is alive and stronger than ever. These accomplishments reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination that define McKinley High School.
School spirit is at the heart of who we are. Whether it’s Friday night lights, pep rallies, spirit weeks, academic competitions, or student performances, our Trojans show up with pride and passion. I strongly encourage every student to GET INVOLVED! Extracurricular activities—including athletics, band and choir, student council, academic teams, clubs, and service organizations—provide invaluable experiences that help students discover their interests, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships. The lessons learned outside the classroom are just as important as those learned within it.
My commitment is to ensure that McKinley High School remains a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students feel supported and inspired every day. I believe in celebrating student success in all forms and fostering a culture where effort, character, and achievement are recognized and honored.
Please never hesitate to reach out with questions, ideas, or concerns. I value open communication and authentic relationships with our students and families. Together, we will continue to build upon our traditions of excellence and school pride.
Be committed to your success, pursue your goals with passion, and take full advantage of every opportunity that comes your way.
Go Trojans! Fight On!
