Students in 6th and 11th grade should consider attending Akron Children's immunization clinic on March 6 here at school, to receive the required vaccines for entering 7th and 12th grade. We were so glad to have this extraordinary alumni panel of 2003 Sebring graduates at McKinley last Friday for our Trojan Alumni Speaker Series. Thanks for sharing your unique stories with us! You truly are an inspiration to our students! 💜💛✨ From left to right: Ryan Burd- Ryan teaches 8th grade at United Local Schools, and has been teaching for the past 13 years. He and his wife, Kaylin, have one daughter, Sloane. He received his Bachelor of Education from YSU and lives in Salem. Chad Christian- Chad is the owner of Elev8 Training and Recovery in Sebring and is a licensed massage therapist. Nichole Hanley- Nikki is our elementary principal at BL Miller. She attended Malone University on a vocal and instrumental music scholarship, graduated with a bachelor's degree in music education, and then taught her first four years in elementary and middle school choir in North Carolina. After returning to Ohio to start her family, she began teaching elementary music in Youngstown City Schools. She received her master’s in education administration from Malone University while working, and gradually changed roles into administrative positions. She has been a dean of students, an assistant principal, and also an elementary principal. Nikki and her husband Kevin have two children who attend Sebring; Brielle (6th grade) and Keegan (1st grade). Shannon (Green)Lipely- Shannon is currently a stay-at-home mom. She graduated from Stark State in 2006 with an associate’s degree in applied science and is a certified medical assistant. She and her husband David have three kids, Gavin(15), Adelyne(11) and Sarah(10) and live in Alliance.
