Our students learned a lot about fire safety and how to be prepared in school and at home! Our 2nd graders put on a delightful Harvest program for families and our PTO provided a delicious Thanksgiving lunch! Our Kindergartners enjoyed dressing up as turkeys and eating a delicious Thanksgiving lunch! Millcreek Metro Parks Farm taught our 3rd grade students about harvesting and the very first Thanksgiving! Thank you to all veterans for your dedication and service to our country. Congratulations to our newly elected 5th grade Student Senate! Our kindergarten classes enjoyed their apple orchard tour on a field trip to White House Fruit Farm. Our students did an awesome job with their summer reading logs and enjoyed our picnic celebration! Positive messages can be seen throughout the walls inside both school buildings. Our students are ready to learn and looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year! Sebring Local Schools are 1 to 1 in technology, meaning each student has his/her own Chromebook. Smaller class sizes means more personalized instruction for Sebring students. Sebring Local Schools are 1 to 1 in technology, meaning all students have his or her own Chromebook. Twenty four elementary students were rewarded with an afternoon at the park for meeting their summer reading challenge.

CHANGING CLIMATE PRESENTATION AT MT. UNION UNIVERSITY

There will be presentation on our changing climate in schools, community, centers and workplaces at Mount Union University in Bracy Hall on Wednesday, November 20th from 6 - 8 p.m. For each person who attends and fills out a form, a tree will be planted. Ecology members if you attend, this will count as an event to get you to the zoo.

Where : McKinley Jr/Sr High School - Please enter through the auditorium doors

What : We will be showcasing some of our classes and providing some exciting sessions to give families a peek at daily life in our Sebring McKinley House. We'll also take a break between those sessions for a complimentary dinner.

Reservation slips need to be returned to the school by November 8th. There is no cost of this fun filled evening, but we need to know how many we expect for dinner.

November 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to noon, BL Miller is providing a free food distribution, food is provided by Second Harvest for Food.  No id is required to receive the free food.  You can expect to receive a variety of items, including frozen meat, shelf stable items and a wonderful variety of fresh produce.

Then on Saturday, November 23rd another food distribution will take place at the Covelli Center in Youngstown from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

To help your family through the holidays and winter months, Sebring’s Care Team is available to assist with obtaining resources and services for food, clothing and utilities.  Please call our Care Team Coordinator at 330.610.0213 or school office for assistance".
