We love and miss all our students! Hope everyone is staying safe & healthy during this time! Everyone at McKinley worked together to raise $3,367.67 for #HopeForBrenden this year! Sebring Local Schools The classes at B.L. Miller were filled with extra lots of love and kindness during our Valentine's Day parties! Thank you to Stanley Leone for speaking to our students, staff and family members throughout the school year on the subject of trauma. Our Kindergarten classes are 100 days smarter! What a festive holiday lunch with students and staff at McKinley! Our 2nd Grade Classes had lots of fun interviewing with Santa for an Elf job at the North Pole! A job well done to all of this year's Spelling Bee participants! Our students learned a lot about fire safety and how to be prepared in school and at home! Thank you to everyone who helped make our Trick or Treat for Turkeys Fundraiser a huge success this year! Our 2nd graders put on a delightful Harvest program for families and our PTO provided a delicious Thanksgiving lunch! Thank you to everyone who attended our "Dinner at Our House" Family Night! Our McKinley staff put together a wonderful Harvest lunch for our students! Our Kindergartners enjoyed dressing up as turkeys and eating a delicious Thanksgiving lunch! Thank you veterans for your dedication and service to our country. Millcreek Metro Parks Farm taught our 3rd grade students about harvesting and the very first Thanksgiving! Seventh & Eighth grade students enjoyed a slime making experiment in class! Spanish 3 students put on Skeleton Puppet Shows in celebration of Day of the Dead! Our Spanish students celebrated Day of the Dead! Thank you to Catherine Bosley for speaking with our students about the importance of social media awareness. Congratulations to our newly elected 5th grade Student Senate! We have Trojan Spirit everyday, but especially during Spirit Week! Our kindergarten classes enjoyed their apple orchard tour on a field trip to White House Fruit Farm. Thank you so much to our All Star Alumni George Clark, Christopher Clemens, Destinee Green, Emma Holodnak and Zane Twaddle for sharing their stories with our students! Two groups of McKinley students attended the first Skilled Trades Expo held at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Our students did an awesome job with their summer reading logs and enjoyed our picnic celebration! The high school marching band had an awesome performance at the Canfield Fair this year! Our Cheerleaders did an awesome job representing Sebring in the Canfield Fair Cheerleading Demonstration! Alex Sheen, Founder of Because I Said I Would, spoke with McKinley students about his inspirational journey and how the concept of promise cards came to be. Our elementary students are ready to learn and looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year! Our students are ready to discover their story this school year, as part of our McKinley school theme - What's Your Story? Sebring McKinley Junior High School offers robotics. Sebring McKinley has a talented and passionate staff, who are dedicated to the students they teach. Sebring Local Schools are 1 to 1 in technology, meaning each student has his/her own Chromebook. Students in Mrs. Walsh's kindergarten class eat their breakfast and work on a project. Positive messages can be seen throughout the walls inside both school buildings. There will be presentation on our changing climate in schools, community, centers and workplaces at Mount Union University in Bracy Hall on Wednesday, November 20th from 6 - 8 p.m. For each person who attends and fills out a form, a tree will be planted. Ecology members if you attend, this will count as an event to get you to the zoo.

What : We will be showcasing some of our classes and providing some exciting sessions to give families a peek at daily life in our Sebring McKinley House. We'll also take a break between those sessions for a complimentary dinner.

Reservation slips need to be returned to the school by November 8th. There is no cost of this fun filled evening, but we need to know how many we expect for dinner.

November 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to noon, BL Miller is providing a free food distribution, food is provided by Second Harvest for Food.  No id is required to receive the free food.  You can expect to receive a variety of items, including frozen meat, shelf stable items and a wonderful variety of fresh produce.

Then on Saturday, November 23rd another food distribution will take place at the Covelli Center in Youngstown from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

To help your family through the holidays and winter months, Sebring’s Care Team is available to assist with obtaining resources and services for food, clothing and utilities.  Please call our Care Team Coordinator at 330.610.0213 or school office for assistance".
