Sebring McKinley will be hosting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) workshop for all parents/guardians and their seniors. Professional financial aid advisors from the University of Mount Union will provide information on how to complete this application as they walk you step by step through the process.
Who Should Attend?
Parents/Guardians and Seniors who plan to attend a 2-year to 4-year college, University, or technical school in 2022-2023
When: Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at 6:00 PM

Completing the FAFSA is the most important step in securing financial aid for college and training programs. All students considering pursuing college, trade, or certificate programs should complete their FAFSA for each year they attend school.

Items needed to complete your FAFSA
Sign up and complete your FSA ID @ studentaid.gov (takes one to three days to receive information )
2020 Federal Tax Returns for students and parents
2020 Parent and Student W-2's
Recent bank Statements
Records of untaxed income (social Security, TANF, Veteran's benefits, etc.)
Records of investments and assets
Social Security Numbers of the student and parents
Complete the FAFSA
Log in with your FSA ID
Answer all applicable questions
Transfer tax information from IRS using Data Retrieval Tool or enter information manually
Both parent and student must electronically sign the FAFSA
*Parents can only be mother, father, or stepparents, unless legally adopted by another person
