February 23, 2022
Students at Sebring B.L. Miller Elementary school celebrated TWOsday on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
Students and teachers were decked out in special TWOsday attire. The B.L. Miller Student Senate shared inspirations for the students such as wearing TWO of things or wearing tu-tus.
Throughout the day on Tuesday, students at every grade level in the elementary school did activities and enjoyed lessons that incorporated the number two and twenty-two. In different classrooms, students could be found exploring the many ways the number two can be represented or sharing a number of words that are used to name two of something.
Other lessons focused on math - such as adding two and twenty two to a number, or doubling numbers. Fourth and fifth grade students were tasked with finding partners for other classwork and activities by pairing up famous duos such as ‘macaroni and cheese’ or ‘cookies and milk.’
The day ended with a dance party - at 2:22 of course!
