Sunday, January 29, 3:00 p.m. -  Trojan Cheerleaders will compete in the OASSA Regional Cheer Competition at Perry High School.

General Admission ($10) tickets will be sold online starting Monday, January 23rd. Tickets for students and senior citizens will be available at a discounted price ($5) at the door. Children 6 and under are free.

The P.I.E. Secret Santa Shop at B.L. Miller will be open for evening shopping during the event. As a reminder, students will have the opportunity to shop during school all week.

Jr. High Senate Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Junior High Senate will hold its annual Thanksgiving food drive from November 8 - 18. Nonperishable food and household items will be collected in homerooms and each item will be worth 1 point. Each day there will be a special item and it will be worth 5 points. Each homeroom in the High School and Jr. High will compete against each other.The class earning the most points will receive a Chick-Fil-A nugget tray!

The Boys Basketball team is selling Toni Ruggles pepperoni rolls. Each roll costs $6.00 and can be ordered from players or coaches. Orders are due by Friday, November 11 and will be delivered Tuesday, November 22. Thanks for supporting the Sebring Boys Basketball Program!

Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, 7:30 p.m. - Sebring drama department production of Fairy Tale Courtroom. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are available during school hours at the high school office for $5.00 or they can be purchased at the door for $6.00. As always, all veterans are free. 

The time has come for two notorious fairy tale characters, The Big Bad Wolf and The Wicked Witch, to be put on trial for their various deeds. Will they be found guilty of their various crimes or will they be found innocent? Only you can decide.

Sunday, October 30, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - High School Ecology Club Trick-or-Treat for Turkeys event in the Village of Sebring! The students will be dressed in costume and will be asking for monetary donations which will go towards purchasing turkeys for Thanksgiving food baskets. They will have a signed letter from Sebring schools explaining the program and what the money is collected for with them.

Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, 7:30 p.m. - Sebring drama department production of Fairy Tale Courtroom. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are available during school hours at the high school office for $5.00 or they can be purchased at the door for $6.00. As always, all veterans are free. 

The time has come for two notorious fairy tale characters, The Big Bad Wolf and The Wicked Witch, to be put on trial for their various deeds. Will they be found guilty of their various crimes or will they be found innocent? Only you can decide.

McKinley PBIS School Store Donations

The Sebring McKinley PBIS committee is looking for donations for our school store. This store offers items that students can “purchase” with the PBIS points they earn for being responsible, respectful and safe. Prepackaged food or drink, school supplies and any other items your business or household would like to donate would be greatly appreciated. Students in preschool through 6th grade will travel with their families to different stations around the varsity field to read and do activities led by our high school students from different fall athletic teams, organizations, staff and volunteers. Every student in attendance will receive a free book. There will also be prize drawings, including a Reading Nook give-away and a parent raffle!

Everyone is welcome at this event supporting reading in our schools. Bring a blanket or chair and sit and read a book together. There will be great surprises from the Sebring Public Library, including special guest Booker the Bear, Sebring’s Public Library Mascot. Guests can meet Andy the Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse and author Sally Kurjan with Puppy Bernie of the “Bernie the One-Eyed Puppy” Series.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a used book or two from home and participate in a "Book Swap” with other students.  Guests can also drop a new book into the book bin at the event for the students at B.L. Miller Elementary School. 

Food and beverages will be available at the concession stand, with proceeds benefiting B.L. Miller’s P.I.E. (Partners In Education).

A special thank you to event partners including:
