Last week, Sebring kindergarten students and their families enjoyed the return of the festive Jingle and Mingle event at B.L. Miller Elementary School.
The event welcomed the family members of Kindergarten students to join the class during the school day for an afternoon packed full of creative activities to showcase the literacy skills students have been learning this year.
“It was a nice opportunity to check in with families during the busy holiday season,” said Sebring kindergarten teacher Betsy Walsh. “The students took great pride in showing their families all of the skills they have learned as they worked through the different activities.”
The students and their guests rotated through several stations with holiday themed activities including making reindeer food, creating a name puzzle, word family Christmas tree sort, a roll and cover heart word game, Christmas books, and cookies and milk.
