SCARP Tutoring

What is SCARP?

SCARP is B.L. Miller's after school tutoring program. SCARP is an 8-week commitment to improve students' learning in reading and/or math. Students in grades 3-5 are invited and will meet February-April from 2:35-4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday.

SCARP students have snack, listen to stories being read aloud, practice skills with online software, and earn rewards for active participation and attendance. SCARP uses selected high school students to tutor, providing academic support, positive role models, and establishing beneficial relationships.

This amazing tutoring opportunity is made available through the generous support of the Scarpitti Foundation.
