Monday, October 26 - Friday, October 30 - Red Ribbon Week at BL Miller! Red Ribbon Week teaches drug awareness and prevention.
Kids are invited to wear the following for each day:
Mon Oct. 26th – Pajamas
Tues Oct. 27th – Neon/Tie Dye
Wed Oct. 28th – Wacky Clothes
Thurs Oct. 29th – Wear RED Day
Fri Oct. 30th – Wear Costumes (costumes must be non-violent and non-scary. Costume masks and heavy face paint are not permitted. Only COVID masks may be on students’ faces.
Starting Monday October 26, Sebring Local Schools Food Service will be offering a la carte items for students at B.L. Miller to purchase. These items will range from $0.50 to $1.00 in cost and includes, but is not limited to, chips, ice cream, cookies, fruit snacks and bottled water. Students are able to bring in checks to put onto their accounts OR bring cash. If you have any questions, our Food Service Director, Caitlyn White can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tuesday, October 27- Final day to Order for the Junior Class Online Salsa Fundraiser
How to order
1. Visit https://josemadridsalsafundraising.com/
2. Click on “Shop” at the upper right.
3. Scroll through the flavors and add your desired choices to the cart.
4. Check out. When entering shipping information, there is a drop-down box labeled “Fundraiser Group” below your address information- select “Sebring McKinley HS”.
5. If applicable, add the name of the individual who contacted you in the “Sales Person” box.
6. Finish your checkout.
The Junior Class will receive $3.50 for each jar purchased!
Tuesday, October 27 - End of the first nine weeks.
Friday, October 30 - Flu shots will be given to students who returned forms by Friday, October 23.
Tuesday, November 3 - Report cards will be sent home with each student.
Saturday, November 7 - The Sebring cheerleaders will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner at the American Legion from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meals will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad and a roll. You may dine-in or have carry-out. Tickets are available now from any cheerleader. Cost is $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (12 and under).
